How we work Payment Ownership Portfolio rights Your responsibilities Revisions Post-launch support Cancellation Limitation of liability Disputes

01

How engagements work

Every project starts with a conversation — either a call or an exchange of messages — where we agree on what's being built, what it will cost, and when it will be done. Nothing starts until we agree in writing.

That agreement (a simple project brief or proposal document) sets the scope. Changes to scope are discussed and repriced before work continues. There are no surprise invoices.

Typical timeline: 8–12 working days from project kick-off to delivery, depending on complexity and content availability from your side.

02

Payment

Payment is split 50/50. 50% upfront before work begins. 50% on delivery — before the files are transferred or the site goes live.

The upfront deposit confirms your project slot and covers initial research and design work. It is non-refundable if you cancel after work has started (see Cancellation below).

Payment methods and currency are agreed per project. Current preference: bank transfer or JazzCash/EasyPaisa for Pakistan-based clients.

03

What you own

You own everything — all code, all design assets, all copy — upon receipt of final payment. Full transfer, no ongoing licensing fee, no strings attached.

This includes the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, any SVG assets or custom illustrations created for the project, and the right to modify or hand the codebase to another developer at any time.

The domain and hosting are always registered in your name, with your payment method. We set them up for you but they belong to you from day one.

04

Portfolio rights

We retain the right to display the completed project in our portfolio and case studies — including screenshots, descriptions of the work, and a link to the live site.

If you'd prefer the work not be shown publicly, let us know before signing off and we can agree to exclude it. This is rare but completely reasonable.

05

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing the content needed for the project — text, images, logos, brand guidelines — within the agreed timeline. Delays on your side may push back delivery.

You are also responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you provide (photos, text, trademarks). We build with what you give us in good faith.

Feedback on drafts and approvals should come back within 3 working days. If feedback is delayed significantly, we may need to reschedule the project.

06

Revisions

Every project includes 2 rounds of revisions after the initial delivery. A revision round means a consolidated list of changes — not a series of drip-fed requests.

Revisions cover adjustments to the agreed scope: copy edits, colour tweaks, layout adjustments, content swaps. They do not cover new features, new pages, or structural redesigns — those are repriced as additions.

Additional revision rounds beyond the included 2 are billed at an agreed hourly or flat rate.

07

Post-launch support

For 30 days after launch, we'll fix any bugs or issues caused by our work at no charge. This covers things that break due to code errors, browser compatibility issues, or oversights on our end.

It does not cover changes to content, new functionality, or issues caused by modifications made by third parties after handoff.

After 30 days, ongoing support is available and priced per request.

08

Cancellation

If you cancel before work has started, you receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

If you cancel after work has started, the deposit is non-refundable. It covers the time and research already invested. Any work completed to that point can be delivered to you if you want it.

If we cancel (which would only happen in exceptional circumstances), you receive a full refund of everything paid.

09

Limitation of liability

Zaree Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of deliverables. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total fees paid for the project in question.

10

Disputes

If something goes wrong, the first step is a direct conversation. Most disagreements come from miscommunication and can be resolved quickly when both sides talk plainly.

If a dispute can't be resolved directly, both parties agree to attempt mediation before any other action. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
