01
Who We Are
Zaree Studios builds direct ordering websites for independent restaurants and cafes, so you can take orders straight from your customers instead of handing a cut to Deliveroo, Just Eat, or Uber Eats. This policy covers our website (this one) and the ordering websites we build and manage for our clients.
If anything here is unclear, just message us — that goes for this policy as much as it does for your website.
02
What We Collect
We only collect what we actually need to talk to you, build your site, and keep this website running properly.
- If you message us on WhatsApp: we get your phone number and whatever you send us, so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.
- If you visit this website: we collect basic analytics data — things like which pages you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you're on.
- If you become a client: we collect what's needed to build and run your ordering website — your restaurant name, menu, food photos, branding, business details, and your kitchen's contact information (like the WhatsApp number your orders route to).
03
WhatsApp & Your Customers' Orders
This one's important, so we want to be extra clear: when your website is live, orders from your customers go straight to your own kitchen's WhatsApp — not to us. We build that connection for you, but we don't see, collect, or store the personal details or orders that pass between you and your diners.
The WhatsApp data we do collect is limited to our own conversations with you as our client — project updates, menu changes, support requests, that kind of thing. WhatsApp is owned by Meta, so their own privacy policy also applies to any message sent through the app.
04
How We Use It
- To reply to your questions and quote you accurately
- To design, build, and maintain your ordering website
- To set up your WhatsApp order routing, hosting, and any add-ons you've chosen
- To understand which pages on this site are actually useful, so we can improve it
We don't sell your information, and we don't hand it to advertisers. Ever.
05
Cookies & Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — nothing more sinister than page views and general trends. It uses cookies to do this. You can block or clear these cookies any time through your browser settings without breaking anything on the site.
We don't use tracking cookies for advertising, and we don't build ad profiles on visitors.
06
Other Services We Use
A few outside services help us (and you) run things smoothly:
- Stuart Logistics handles delivery for clients who use it. Once a delivery order is placed, Stuart deals directly with the courier and the customer's delivery details under their own privacy policy.
- WorldFirst processes our business payments securely. We don't store your card details ourselves.
- Google Analytics (see above) helps us understand site traffic.
We only work with services we trust, and we don't share more information with them than each one needs to do its job.
07
Keeping It Safe
We take reasonable, sensible precautions to keep your information secure — from how we store client project files to how your website itself is hosted. No system is 100% bulletproof, but we don't cut corners here.
08
How Long We Keep It
We keep client information for as long as we're working together, plus a reasonable period after in case you come back or need support. If you'd like us to delete your information sooner, just ask — see "Your rights" below.
09
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's inaccurate
- Delete your information, once we no longer need it for an active project or legal reason
Just message us — we'll sort it directly, no forms or ticketing system.
10
Changes To This Policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For anything major, we'll let existing clients know directly.
